Services for John Eric Smith, 45, will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 19, 2007, at Craddock Memorial Chapel. Rev. Dan Patman of the First United Methodist Church in Ardmore will officiate.
Born on Oct. 27, 1961, in Ardmore, Okla., to Rodolph and Pauline Smith, he died Feb. 14, 2007, in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. He was preceded in death by his bloved mother.
A graduate of Dickson High School, he attended Oklahoma State University. He lived in Dallas most of his adult life. He was employed by Boardway Porsche were he excelled as a sales associate. He also had his Texas Realtor licnise. Eric had a passion for life and lived it to the fullest. His travels took him to Mexico, Europe, Asia and China. He other loves were gardening, cooking and being with friends. He was deeply loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his father, and two sisters, Deanna Coffman and husband, Mike, and Debra Dobbins and husband, Wes, all of Ardmore; a brother, Randy Smith and wife, Helen, Kingston; many nieces and nephews.
Honorary Pallbearers include, Kip Whiteside, Fish Greenfield, Thom Maciula, Brad Duren, Phil Sotolongo, Stephen Rosenkrantz and Jim Weaver. Memorials can be made to the American Heart Association.
