Annie Marcell Boatright was born Sunday, August 9, 1936, near Ringold, Texas to Jim and Ruby (McNabb) Burt and died Sunday, August 20, 2023, in Davis, Oklahoma at the age of 87 years and 11 days.

Marcell was a God loving woman who took great pride in studying the Word of God.  She always prayed for her family to be near God.  She was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Ardmore for over 35 years.

She married Larry Wayne Boatright on June 28, 1952, and had celebrated 35 years of marriage before his untimely death on December 29, 1987.

Besides her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents; son, Larry Eugene Boatright on November 6, 1977; brothers, Jimmy Burt, Delbert Burt and his wife Pat; sisters, Wanda Jones, and her husband Billy; sister-in-law, Janice Bates; granddaughters, Kourtney Lynn Brackett, Kimberly Ford; nephews, Kenny Tarlton and Rodney Jones.

Marcell is survived by her daughter, Mona Hensley and her husband Tom of Davis, Oklahoma; sons, Randy Boatright and his wife Catalina of Ardmore, Oklahoma, Monty Boatright and his wife Lorri of Ardmore, Oklahoma; brother, Joe Burt and his wife Janna of Noble, Oklahoma; sister, Jean Tarlton of Ardmore, Oklahoma, Charlotte Green and her husband Al of Camden, Arkansas; sisters-in-law, Joyce Burt of Ardmore, Oklahoma, Diane Brown of Lubbock, Texas; grandchildren, Jackie Gill, Gregory Boatright, Shellan Hensley, Mickey Hensley, Beth Anderson, Brandon Hensley, Kody Boatright, Larry Boatright, Tricia Sharp; 16 great-grandchildren and 5 great-greatgrandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 am on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at Rosehill Cemetery in Ardmore, Oklahoma, with Reverend Al Green officiating.
