Obituary

Funeral services for Anthony Wilson are scheduled for Friday, June 14th, at 2:00 p.m. at the Craddock Memorial Chapel. A private interment will follow. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Craddock Funeral Home.

Anthony David Wilson was born on March 7, 1957, to Helen Renay (Pearson) and Thomas David Wilson in Ardmore, OK. He passed from this life at home with family on June 9, 2024, at the age of 67.

Anthony was a graduate of Ardmore High School in the class of 1975. He loved to create; his favorite subject in school was drafting class. After graduation, Anthony embraced his family's legacy by dedicating himself to the Wilson Cabinet Shop, where his natural talent and dedication shone brightly. He designed and built his first house in 1977, around the corner from the cabinet shop and his mom and dad. He was married for 21 years and was blessed with the birth of his two daughters, whom he lovingly proclaimed as the loves of his life. On June 30, 2001, he married Charlotte Ashton, a union that brought nearly two decades of shared laughter, love, and cherished memories until her passing in 2020.

Anthony loved spending time with his friends, talking about cars, especially Chevys, watching drag racing, and going to the lake. His knack for storytelling and quick wit made every encounter a joyous occasion, ensuring that no stranger remained a stranger for long in Anthony's presence.

Anthony was preceded in death by his parents, David and Helen Wilson, wife Charlotte Wilson, and dog Tobey.

He is survived by his daughters Abby Florey and her husband Adam of Ardmore and Rachel Maib and her husband Aron of Broken Bow; grandchildren Elli Maib, Carter Maib, Addison Maib, Braden Florey, and Jay Florey; sister Natalie Simigian and her husband John of Coppell, TX; nephews Scott Simigian, his wife Katie, and Austin Simigian; mother-in-law Wilma Ashton; along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ardmore Animal Shelter or The Kidney Cancer Association.
