Graveside services for Barbara LaKay Liguori will be at 2:00 pm Saturday, February 1, 2025, at the Lone Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday January 31, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Craddock Funeral Home in Ardmore, Oklahoma.
Barbara was born on March 8, 1943, in Santa Fe, New Mexico to Harvey G. Coleman and Juanita B. Osborn and passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2025, in College Station, Texas.
Barbara worked as a nurse in Oklahoma until her retirement. Barbara was fiercely independent and kind! She took care of all around her and nursing was not only her profession, but it was also her life-long calling.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, stepmother, Geneva Coleman and her brother, Burrell (Buddy) Coleman.
She is survived by her siblings: sister Beth Vance of San Angelo, Texas and her brother James Coleman of Datil, New Mexico, and their children. She is also survived by her children: Gina Mosavi, DVM and husband Mike Mosavi of College Station, Texas and Douglas Liguori and wife Sarah Liguori of Lewiston, Idaho; her grandchildren: Dr. Paymon Mosavi M.D. and fiancé Dr. Amanda Garza of Houston, Texas, Pegga Mosavi-Hecht, J.D. and husband Ryan Mosavi-Hecht, PhD. of Dallas, Texas, Paresa Mary Mosavi of Austin, Texas, Erin Liguori, Gabe Keller, Kaden Stout, Adara Liguori, Abraham Liguori, and Joanna Liguori of Lewiston, Idaho. Dearest cousin Necia Keith of Lone Grove, Oklahoma and family and numerous extended family members.
A special thank you is given to Luminos Hospice of College Station, Tx. and to nurses: Madison, Kelly, Shequita, Mary, and Emily for their gracious care of Mom.
In lieu of flowers, if you so choose, memorial donations can be made to the children of St. Joseph's Indian School, PO Box, 326 Chamberlain, SD 57326. These kids' education was near and dear to her heart.
