Graveside services for Bobby Royce Smith will be at 11:00 am Friday, March 31, 2023, at Rose Hill Cemetery with David Colaw officiating. Assisting as pallbearers will be Kenny Morris, Robert Chaney, Clay Allison, Cole Walker, Scott Walker, and Austin King.  Honorary pallbearers will be Dillen Wingate, Steven Smith and Jake Walker.

Bobby Royce Smith was born December 13, 1936, in Ardmore, Oklahoma to William Thurman and Juanita Mitchell Smith. He passed in his home with his family and loved ones by his side on Monday March 27, 2023.

On November 9, 1967, Bobby married the love of his life, Beverley Ann Smith, she preceded him in death on March 2, 2017. Bobby was a Master Sergeant in the Air Force for 20 years.  He completed two tours of Vietnam. After he retired from the Air Force he moved back to Ardmore, Oklahoma. He was employed at Uniroyal-Michelin, he retired after 20 years. He was a member of the Elk's Lodge for 38 years and joined the Masonic Lodge in 1996.  He enjoyed restoring old classic cars, fishing, time with family and friends at the lake, driving around the lake with his best friend Tony.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Timothy & Billy Smith and bonus sons, David & Jeff Hutchison. He is survived by his sons, Ricky Smith and wife Lori of Lakeland, Florida, Bobby Smith Jr. of Yukon, Oklahoma, Michael Smith and wife Pam of Ardmore, Oklahoma; daughter, Lynn Morris and husband Kenny of Wichita Falls, Texas; 23 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; 2 great greatgrandchildren; daughter-in-law, Eva Smith; lifelong friends Tony and Karen Hutchison of Ardmore, Oklahoma and his special, precious dog Lucy.
