Carol Keith Marion, after a long illness, peacefully departed her earthly life on June 12, 2022, surrounded by her family.

Born January 10, 1942 in Ardmore to John T. and Nellie Lester Keith, she was preceded in death by her parents, her husband E.M. Marion, and a granddaughter, Caroline Delaine Bartsch.

Carol is survived by three children, Keith B. Bartsch (Delaine) of Tulsa, Kara Bartsch Pearson (Paul) of Ardmore, and Kevin C. Bartsch (Marie) of Wichita, Kansas.

Carol was the beloved grandmother ("Neenaw") of Viktoria Bartsch Ford (Benjamin) of Spring, Texas, Evan Pearson (Payton) of Oklahoma City, Ryan Pearson of Ardmore, and Jacob, Samuel, Rachel and Nathan Bartsch of Wichita. Carol was great grandmother to Caroline Ford of Spring, and Isla and Andy Pearson of Oklahoma City. Carol is also survived by a dear first cousin, whom she loved like a sister, Shirley West Murphy, of Ardmore, and a host of extended family members and friends.

A retired Ardmore City Schools administrative assistant, in retirement, Carol served as librarian at Ardmore's First Baptist Church, her church home of over fifty years.

Carol's life and heavenly homecoming will be celebrated by her family with a visitation at Craddock Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m., June 15th, and service at First Baptist Church on Thursday, June 16th at 10am with Dr. Alton Fannin officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
