Funeral services for Chad Eric Tipps are scheduled for 2:00 pm, Saturday, March 11, 2023, in the Craddock Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Casey Shutt and Milton Cooper officiating. Interment will follow in Bomar Point Cemetery in Wilson. A visitation will be held at 1:00 pm before the service on Saturday.

Chad Eric Tipps was born April 12, 1970, in Ardmore, Ok to Ronnie and Lou Ann (Ellis) Tipps. He passed this life on March 9, 2023, in an Oklahoma City hospital.

Chad graduated from McKinny High School in 1989. He attended College at Oklahoma State and North Texas. While at North Texas, he was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. He worked as an Information Technical Consultant.

His Children survive him, Lauren Carney and her husband Brandon, of Dallas, Tx., Alexandra Tipps of Austin, Tx., and Gavin Tipps of Plano, Tx; father, Ronnie Tipps of Ardmore; brother, Rod Tipps and his wife Wynette of Justin, Tx; Grandchildren, Jasper Carney and Aelovelynn Carney of Dallas, Tx. and a niece, Sloane Tipps.

Dan Combe, Rod Tipps, Mike Phipps, Mike Tipps, John Tipps, and Brandon Carney will serve as Pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers are Matt Baggett, Brad Evans, Jim Catlow, Jim Bullock, and Bart McMurry.
