Charles "Chuck" Reding was born October 18, 1935 to Pearl (Nuzum) and Henry Reding in Geary, Oklahoma. He passed from this life on May 16, 2025.
Chuck was a graduate of Geary High School in the class of 1954. On February 4, 1955 he married Helen Eager in Geary, OK. From this marriage they had 3 children, Mike, Steve, and Leanne. Chuck enlisted in the United States Army in 1954 and proudly served until his discharge in 1957. After serving his time with the Army he began a career with the Postal Service that lasted 32 years. Chuck then began working in the Colston Building and remained there for another 20 years.
Chuck loved watching old westerns and enjoyed his daily early morning trips to the casino.
Chuck was preceded in death by his parents Pearl and Henry Reding; wife Helen Reding; and brother Donald Ray Reding.
He is survived by his sons Mike Reding and his wife Gay Lynn; Steve Reding and wife Kandice; daughter Leanne Lee and her husband Ed Lee; 11 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and 10 great-great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Monday, May 19th at 10:30 a.m. at the Craddock Memorial Chapel with Dr. Collin Bullard officiating.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Cross Timbers Hospice.
