Funeral Services for Christopher Joe Bamburg will be at 10:00 am Tuesday, October 8, 2024, in the Craddock Memorial Chapel with Larry Berryhill officiating.  Burial will follow at the Pruitt Cemetery with Austin Bean, Greg Clark, Justin Henson, Bryckton Lewis, Lyndon Lewis, and Braiden Lee serving as pallbearers.

Christopher was born on Friday October 4, 1996, in Ardmore, Oklahoma to Curtis Joe and Lisa Renay (Lewis) Bamburg and passed away Saturday September 21, 2024, in Red Bluff, California at the age of 27 years, 11 months and 17 days.

Christopher attended and graduated from Dickson Public Schools in 2015. He started playing football in the fourth grade and played throughout high school and broke several high school records. He loved watching football, and his favorite team was the New York Jets, and his favorite basketball team was the Oklahoma City Thunder. He especially loved the family cookouts. His shining star was Legend Carter, his son. Christopher had spent the past few years as a truck driver.

Christopher is preceded in death by his father; grandparents, Curtis & Barbara Bamburg, Kenneth & Nadine Lewis Sr.; uncles, Jimmy Lewis, Kenneth Lewis, Jr. He leaves behind his mother, Lisa Bamburg; brothers, Trent Lee of Nashville, Tennessee, Billy Lee of Ardmore, Oklahoma and his son Legend Carter Bamburg of Calera, Oklahoma; nephew, Braiden Lee; niece, Jules Lee of Ardmore, Oklahoma; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
