Christopher John Vargas passed from this earth December 18, 2021. He was born July 18, 1970 to Antonio (Tony) Vargas and June Crawford Vargas in Harbor City, California. He was a graduate of Simi High School of Simi Valley, California. He has one sister Angela Vargas, four beautiful children Katelynn, Nicholas, Kira and Kayle; nephews, Dillon Powers, Carson Pettifer and Chloe Ferguson; cousins, Charles Childress of Ardmore, Scott Pannell of Maback, Texas, Art Peckio, Ernie Pekio, Susie Peckio, Steven Garrio, Oscar Vargas, all of California.

Chris was a talented tile setter. An artist in his work. He had a  love of surfing, water and snow skiing, boating, soccer, baseball and football. We would like to thank one special and loving friend Naomi, the one person he truly held the deepest love and friendship. A memorial service will be held January 8, 2022 at the Gene Autry Methodist Church at 2:00 PM. Reception to follow. The family gives thanks to all that have been a part of Christopher's life.
