Clara "Louise" Brown was born February 11, 1936 to Katheryn (Kelly) and Truman Taylor in Belzoni, MS. Louise, beloved wife, "Momma", and "Mamaw", passed from this life peacefully in her sleep on August 31, 2021 at the age of 85.

Louise grew up in Ardmore and graduated from Ardmore High School. On August 9, 1953, she married Douglas Brown, also of Ardmore, in Gainesville, TX. They recently celebrated their 68 ^th Wedding Anniversary. Doug and Louise had two daughters: Linda and Beverly. Doug and Louise raised their family in Ardmore where Louise worked as a banker at Exchange National Bank. Louise enjoyed researching her family's genealogical history, action movies, baking, and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Ardmore. She loved seeing her family grow and succeed. She is loved beyond words and will be missed terribly. She is now a guardian angel for her family until reunited in Heaven.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents, Truman Taylor and Katheryn Estes.

She is survived by her husband Doug Brown; Daughters Linda Brown Harris and her fiancé Bobby Wilson and Beverly Enderby and her husband Bill; Grandchildren Buddy Harris and his partner Laura Langley, Krystal Christian and her husband Scotty, Dr. Austin Solomons and his wife Dr. Sarah Solomons, C. Kahner Enderby, and Tiffany Lucas and her husband Jason; Great-Grandchildren Rylee Hale, Braxton Christian, Blayde Christian, Meredith Langley, Landry Langley, and Cooper Solomons.

Graveside services are scheduled for Friday, September 3 ^rd at 10:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Rev. David Daniel officiating. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5 to 6:00 p.m. at Craddock Funeral Home. Family and friends are encouraged to attend.
