Funeral services for Clarence Eugene Saylors are scheduled for 2:00 Monday, January 2, 2023, at the Hilltop Baptist Church in Ardmore with Rev's LeRoy Holman and Bob Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the funeral home Saturday from 2:00 to 3:00 pm.

Clarence was born on April 18, 1932, between Maysville and Lindsay, Oklahoma to Youcle Clarence and Aza (McGehee) Saylors. He only weighed a little over one pound when he was born. He passed this life on December 30, 2022, in Ardmore at age 90.

He graduated from Plainview High School in 1951. He was the only boy to graduate that year.  He and Elizabeth Zellner were married on October 17, 1953.  He worked for many years as a Barber and then went to work for the American National Insurance Company as an agent.  He served his country in the United States Navy.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth of the home; daughters, Karen Wood, Annette Shirley and husband Rocky Rob Shirley and Diane Dewbre; Grandchildren, Diane Campo, Amy Tucker, John Hartman, Ricky Gene Shirley and wife Natalie, Jamie Lee Shirley and wife Jennifer, Taylor Shirley, Stephanie Ann Hammon and husband Kenny, Charlie Love, Christopher Love, Clayton Love and Megan, Shawn Clarence Dewbre and Felecia Hendon, Robert Lee Dewbre and wife Lori Dewbre, George Eddie Dewbre and wife Courtney and Rachel Womack and her husband Cody; Granddaughter in Law, Lindsay Shirley; Great Grandchildren, Blake Campo, Jessie Campo, Trenton Tucker, Elizabeth Tucker, Olvia Ditto, Mia Ditto, Violet Shirley, Axel Shirley, Shiloh Womack,  Shelby Womack,  Jud Womack and Jake Womack, Sailor Apple Shirley, Stevie Jay Moon Shirley, Jaxon Shirley, Jourden Shirley, Riley Hammon, Jaclyn Hammon, Brodie Love, Marley Love, Eli Love, Kael Zander Rapier, Emma Clayton, Jhett Shebester, Devin and Kate Dewbre, Zak Dewbre and Colleen Dewbe. He was preceded in death by his parents, Daughter, Nancy Love, son Shaun Saylors and grandson Robbie Shirley.
