Memorial services for Creede Worley Tibbs will be Friday, May 24, 2019 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Ardmore with Rev. John Hatfield and Rev. Jerry White officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be Thursday from 6-7 PM at Craddock Funeral Home. Creede was born August 21, 1968 at Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was the son of the late Jeff and Wylene Tibbs. He passed from this life on May 16, 2019 in Dickson at the age of 50. He was a lifelong resident of this area. Creede graduated from Ardmore High School in 1986. He then graduated from Murray State College in 1988 and later from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in 1991 with a Bachelor Degree in Education. Creede was a teacher, coach, bus driver and later Associate Director of Operations. He enjoyed working with the Ardmore City Schools and touched many lives for over 23 years. He was currently employed with Elliott Hydraulics. He was active with the YMCA since the age of 15 and loved being a volunteer coach. Creede was a loving devoted father. If you knew him you knew he loved his children and to tell you about their latest accomplishments. He enjoyed working cattle, hunting, football and baseball. Creede was a member of the Lebanon First Baptist Church, Eagle Scout, Shriner, Mason and had served on the Carter County Junior Livestock Board. He is survived by his wife Penny; son Cade Tibbs and fiancé Laney Ledford both of Tishomingo, son; Bryce Tibbs and daughter Paisley Tibbs of the home, sister; Stephanie Tibbs of Ardmore, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and his biological mother Sherry Denise Alexander and brother Shane Messimore of Claremore. Honorary pallbearers will be Ricky Turner, Chris Kennedy, Alan Crook, Joe Tibbs, Greg Elliott, Derek Elliott, Victor Trivitt, Cary Williamson, Eldon McBride, Chris Shadden, Cory Lofton, Jim Murphy.
