Dan Raymon Woodward was born April 13, 1942 in Berwyn, Oklahoma to Lawrence Francis Woodward and Vella Mae (Taylor) Woodward. He passed from this life on May 12, 2021 in Ardmore at the age of 78.

He and Edna Sue Lambert were married on October 30, 1968 in Springer, Oklahoma.

Dan was a veteran of the United States Army. He retired from Michelin in 1998, after 25 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Vann Ray and Herbert Victor and sister, Francis Ometa Woodward Maxwell.

Dan is survived by his wife, Sue Woodward of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Deanna and Joe McNeely of Ardmore; son, Greg Woodward of Ardmore; grandchildren, Kallie and Madi McNeely, Ethan Moore, all of Ardmore; sister,Pat and husband, Jimmy Kinsey of Broken Arrow, OK; numerous nieces, nephews and Becky Pyle a special family friend that is like another daughter.

Memorial services will be Tuesday, May 18, 2021, 2:00 PM in the Craddock Memorial Chapel with Kevin Stinson officiating.
