Memorial services for David Almon are scheduled for Monday, December 2 ^nd at 11:00 a.m. at Emmanuel Baptist Church with Bro. Donny Custar officiating. Inurnment will follow at Rosehill Cemetery.

David Almon was born September 12, 1956 to Betty Ann (Spurlock) and Aubra Ray Almon in Ardmore, OK. He passed from this life on November 26, 2019 at the age of 63.

David was a graduate of Ardmore High School in the class of 1974. Upon graduation he briefly attended NCTC in Gainesville, TX before enlisting in the United States Army. In the Army, David earned the rank of Sergeant E5 in the Military Police. After 10 years in the Army, he joined the Oklahoma National Guard. David returned to Ardmore where he worked for the Carter County Sheriff's department for 6 years. He then joined the Ardmore Police Department where he spent 14 years.

David enjoyed reading comic books, watching Star Wars, Star Trek, and Dr. Who. Most of all he loved his grandchildren.

David was preceded in death by his father, Aubra Ray Almon; brother, Paul Almon; and granddaughter, Emily Almon Keelan.

He is survived by his daughters, Elizabeth Keelan and her husband, Will of Sherman, TX and Terri Coyle and her husband, Michael of Burneyville; son, Cullen Almon and Denni Navin of Wilson; mother, Betty Ann Almon; brother, Eddie Almon; and grandchildren, Blake, Hannah, Dylan, Shelby, Michael, Grayson, Kolten, and Avery.
