David Alan Gunsolus was born February 4, 1949 to Martha (Kelly) and Lester Gunsolus in Ardmore, OK. He went to be with his Lord and Savior on August 21, 2022 at Mercy Memorial Hospital.

David grew up in Ardmore, OK. He graduated from Dickson High School. On July 15, 1968 he married Rebecca "Becky" Cole in Ardmore, OK and remained married for 53 years. David also served as a Sargent in the U.S. Air Force for the first 4 years of their marriage. David retired from Michelin Tire Company after 32 years. He was a member of the Lone Grove Assembly of God Church.

David's hobbies included working in his shop, attending classic car shows with is wife and their 1966 Mustang, and spending time with grandkids.

David was preceded in death by his wife Becky Gunsolus, parents Lester and Martha Gunsolus, sons Matthew and Stephen Gunsolus, brothers Lester Wayne Gunsolus, Lesley Gunsolus, and Wesley Gunsolus, and niece Sherry Gunsolus.

He is survived by his daughters Chelsi Oshields and fiancé Josh Bolding of Ardmore and Stephanie Perryman and her husband Darren; grandkids Ailey and Levisty Self, Miko Blancett, Wesley and Bradley Perryman, David Oshields, and Daxton Bolding; siblings Linda Gale McCleskey and her husband Joe, and Gary and Linda Gunsolus, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 25 ^th at 2:00 p.m. at Craddock Memorial Chapel with Rev. Gary Gunsolus officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Craddock Funeral Home.

Miko Blancett, Levisty Self, Curtis Cole, Larry Hale, Tommy Tucker, and Danny Godfrey will serve as pallbearers.

Honorary pallbearers are Randy Doyle, Gary Cook, Larry Don Hale, Kevin Hale, Wes Perryman, and Brad Perryman.
