David Carl Jones was born to Clem and Mae Jones in Lone Grove, Oklahoma on May 23, 1946. He passed from this life on August 20, 2023 at the age of 77.

Early in life, David served in the United States Air Force. He married Alma Lou Jones on February 21, 1970 at the Cheek Baptist Church. David worked as a mechanic and eventually became a foreman for Ardmore Production. In his spare time, David spent many fulfilling hours woodworking. He loved his family deeply and will be sorely missed.

David is survived by his two sons, Scott Jones and wife Denise, Brett Jones and his wife Jen; his sister, Marcella Bray; grandchildren, Makenze Gillett, Brodey Herrin, Brittany Jones, Madison Jones, Carlee Jones, Zack Jones, Braylin Jones; and three great-grandchildren.

David was preceded in death by his wife Alma Lou Jones and son Charles Jones.
