David Louis Krohn was born October 22, 1951 to Lorene Erma (Hugo) and Richard Louis Krohn at Chanute Air Force Base in Champaign, IL. He passed from this life on February 3, 2021 at the age of 69.
David was a graduate of Ardmore High School in the class of 1969. Upon graduation he enlisted in the United States Army and proudly served for 3 years. On January 24, 1970 he married Patricia Park in Ardmore, OK. David became involved in the rodeo business during his college years and for a few years after preforming as a rodeo clown and doing some horse training. David's love for animals had inspired him to enroll at Murray State and continue on to Oklahoma State University where he earned a degree in Animal Science and worked in the cattle and horse industry until the early 90's. He then began his second career work as a rural route carrier for the Post Office first in the southern Lone Grove area then later in the Dickson area.

David was an avid golfer and spent much of his free time at the Lake Murray golf course. He loved his family and spent as much times as he could with them.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Lorene Krohn; son Larry Krohn; and brother Jeff Krohn.
He is survived by his wife Patricia Krohn of the home; son Brian Krohn  and Ashley Goodson of Lone Grove; sister Terri Ashley and her husband Lloyd of Texas; grandchildren Brittany (Krohn) Rames and her husband Orlando, Tori Krohn, Halie Krohn, and Shelby Krohn; and 3 great grandchildren.
Graveside services are scheduled for Monday, February 8th at 2:00 p.m. at Nelda Cemetery with Jeff Miller officiating. Those in attendance will be requested to wear a mask.
