Donald Lee Carroll was born Thursday May 15, 1934, in Hon, Arkansas to Dee and Louella (Tharp) Carroll and died Sunday June 1, 2025, in Ardmore, Oklahoma at the age of 91 years and 17 days.

Donald was a veteran of the Viet Nam Conflict serving in the United States Air Force for 20 years, 2 months and 13 days. He joined in March of 1954 and retired in April of 1974. He obtained the rank of Tech Sergeant and worked as an airplane mechanic and was the recipient of several awards and decorations.

He married Margaret Ruth (Welch) Carroll on August 17, 1978, and she preceded him in death. He is also preceded in death by a brother, William Dee Carroll on June 1, 2021. He is survived children, Edward, Donna, Geoffery, Bryan, and Robert Carroll and his step-children, Delores Burgess of Blytheville, Arkansas, Janet Hillhouse of Altamont, Illinois and Jerry Welch of Cape  Girardeau, Missouri; siblings, Betty Lou Gray of Perryton, Texas, Patricia Jean Alarid and her husband Tommy of Mena, Arkansas, Robert Eugene Carroll and his wife Anita of Ardmore, Oklahoma; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
