Donald Lee Wilbanks, 81, of Ardmore was born on April 30, 1939 at Solana Beach, California to Wilford Hayman Wilbanks and Mary Edith (Patton) Wilbanks. He passed from this life on February 25, 2021 with his family by his side. He and Susan South were married on February 26, 1970 in Talkeetna, Alaska. They lived in Anchorage, Alaska for many years and then moved to Ardmore where they have been for 39 years. Donald was a self employed general contractor for many years. He was retired from Ardmore City Schools as a carpenter. He was an Army veteran.

Donald is preceded in death by his parents Wilford and Mary Edith Wilbanks, brothers; Lloyd Wilbanks, Stanley Wilbanks and sister Frances Schopp. He is survived by his wife Susan of the home, daughter Donna Sue Williams and husband Terry of Ardmore, brothers; Robert Wilbanks, Ross Wilbanks, Raymond Wilbanks, sisters; Elsie Strickwerda, Enid Hadley, Louise Downs, Sue Thompson, grandchildren; Tara Sue Williams and other relatives and friends. Honorary pallbearers are his coffee-drinking friends. Funeral services will be Monday, March 1, 2021, 11:00 AM in the Craddock Memorial Chapel with military honors and Larry Landtroop officiating.
