Donna M'Liss
Hunt
Sep 25, 1942 — Oct 1, 2025
Donna M'Liss Hunt was born September 25, 1942, to Mary Lee (Patterson) and L.E. "Doc" Reed in Duncan, Oklahoma. She loved her Lord and Savior Jesus and was baptized at the age of five, remembering every moment of it. Donna was a graduate of Duncan High School, class of 1961. She married the love of her life, David Bee Hunt, on June 8, 1962, at the First Christian Church of Duncan. They spent 63 wonderful years together.
She worked in media advertising for 30 years and, after retirement, part-time at Tol's Jewelry. Donna lived in Ardmore for over 50 years and was known for serving on multiple boards, including as an Ambassador with the Chamber of Commerce. She donated countless gallons of blood in her pursuit to help others and also taught an aerobic class for 10 years.
While Donna was proud of many things in her life, nothing compared to the love she held for her family. She especially enjoyed spending time with David. They loved going to the lake, riding around in their Jeep "Little Red," going fishing, and dancing together. On Saturdays, she loved cheering on the OU Sooners with her family. If there was a ballgame for her grandchildren or great-grandchildren, you could always find her on the sidelines!
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, L.E. and Mary Lee Reed, and her sister, Bama Adkins.
She is survived by her husband, David Hunt, and their children: Rondy Hunt and wife Kim, Michael Hunt and wife Sharyle, and Holly Boyer and husband Shawn. She was blessed with nine grandchildren - Blake Hunt and wife Tandra, Cassidy Bliss and husband Tadd, Kelsey Blankenship, McKenzie Flatt and husband Jordan, Jarod Boyer and wife Lacey, Carly Almaraz and husband Jonathan, Hayden Perry and husband Doug, Brooke Livingston and husband Tyler, and Halle Hunt , as well as 12 great-grandchildren whom she loved and adored.
To know Donna was to love her! She never met a stranger and lit up every room she entered. She leaves behind a legacy of love and will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know her.
