Dorothy Ann (Marsh) Smith

Funeral services Dorothy Ann (Marsh) Smith will be Wednesday, February 3, 2021, 1:00 PM at the Craddock Memorial Chapel with Rev. Bob Lee officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery alongside her son and husband. A visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday evening from 6-8 PM at Craddock Funeral Home.

Dorothy was born November 4, 1937 in Ardmore to Samuel Wesley Marsh and Edna Viola (Cook) Marsh. She passed from this life on January 29, 2021 in Ardmore, OK at the age of 83.

She and Robert Harold Smith were married in Gainesville, Texas on August 24, 1955.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Edna Marsh; husband, Robert and a son, Russell Smith.

Dorothy was a homemaker, Air Force wife and attended Bethel Baptist Church for many years.

She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Smith, Lauren McLaughlin and husband, Richard of Ardmore; son, Rick Smith and wife, Juanita of Austin, Texas; grandchildren, Bailey Loper of Austin, TX., Hannah McLaughlin, Jacob McLaughlin of Ardmore, Erika Smith, Jason Smith, Tony Smith, Kim Jennings, Brandon Moore; six great- grandchildren, and many others relatives and friends.  She was a beloved aunt and "Second Mom" to her nieces and nephews and treasured for her wise and honest counsel.

Pallbearers will be Larry Scott, Gary Scott, Mike Wilson, Robert Beauchamp, David Thomason and Steve Vladyka.
