Funeral services for Dorothy Mathes will be Saturday, January 26th at 2:00 p.m. at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Ardmore with Elder Jack Pack officiating. Interment will follow at Lone Grove cemetery. A visitation will be held Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Craddock Funeral Home .
Dorothy Ann Mathes was born January 27, 1935 in Little Rock Arkansas to Raymond and Anna Beem. She died January 21, 2019. She was a gifted nurse, serving in many capacities through her life. She loved playing many musical instruments, and served as a musician at her church. She joyfully shared her musical talents with anyone who needed them.  She was previously married to Don Ludgate, who preceded her in death on January 20, 2019, and was the father of her 3 children.
She was also preceded in death by her second husband Marvin Mathes, who died on January 31, 1994.
She is survived by her three children and their spouses Julia Hansen and husband Dan, Jeannie Norris and husband Alan, Jerry Ludgate and wife Cathy; six grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
