Memorial services for Edna Higginbotham Day will be Friday, January 10, 2020, 2:00 PM in the Craddock Memorial Chapel with Evangelist Brian Scott LanCaster and Larie Harrison officiating. Edna was born October 25, 1941 at Roswell, New Mexico to Cecil Browning Higginbotham and Rachel Virginia (Brooks) Higginbotham. She passed from this life on January 4, 2020 in Ardmore at the age of 78. She was a lifelong resident of this area. Edna enjoyed gardening, reading (especially Louis L'Amour, Stephen King, Dean Koontz and John Le Carrie) cooking for family, softball and basketball when she was in school and spending time with her family. She drove the bus for Sunshine Industries for many years and was a homemaker. She was Assembly of God.
Edna was preceded in death by her parents Cecil and Rachel, son; Richard Maddox, sisters; Ruby LanCaster, Shirley Keeton and 5 nieces and nephews. She is survived by her daughters; Larie Day Harrison (Frankie) of Marietta, Timmi Ross of Tualatin, Oregon, son; Kenny Maddox (Crickett) of Ardmore, brothers; Joe Higginbotham of Ardmore, Butch Higginbotham (Pat) of Ft. Worth, TX, Tony Higginbotham (Lisa) of Davis, OK., seven grandchildren Jason Trivitt, Kelly Alexander, Lyndsey McMahan, Elizabeth McMahan, Tera Maddox, Veronica Hughes, Tabby Collins, twelve great grandchildren and numerous other family and friends.
