Edward Andel was born June 16, 1951, to Frank and Elsie Andel in East Bernard, TX. He passed from this life on April 5, 2022, at the age of 70.

Ed was a graduate of El Campo High School in El Campo, TX, in the class of 1970. Upon graduation he attended two years of college before starting his career as a welder. On November 18, 1988, Ed married Romona Still in Wallis, TX. They moved to the Ardmore area in 2013 and became members of the Pathway of Life Church. Ed was a true servant of God and served his church in every way he could.

Ed was a man who loved the outdoors. He kept his yard immaculate and regularly tended to his grass and garden. Ed had a sense of humor that always kept people around him smiling. In his free time, he also enjoyed camping and fishing. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Ed was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Elsie Andel.

He is survived by his wife, Romona Andel; children, Cristi Cobia, Eric Andel, Rocky Andel, and Sonia Andel; sister, Barbara Bearden and her husband, Bill; brothers, James Andel and Richard Andel and his wife, Lori; grandchildren, Zachary Vasquez, Brittany Vasquez, Savannah Vasquez, Cassie Andel, Rebecca Andel, and Jack Andel.

Serving as pallbearers will be Zachary Vasquez, Dewayne Martin, Douglas Martin, Jason Green, Rian Martin, Artie Hammon. Honorary pallbearer will be Donald Bendabout.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, April 9 ^th at the Craddock Memorial Chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Br. Eldon Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Craddock Funeral Home.
