Edwin O.
Perryman
Jun 14, 1941 — Feb 28, 2026
Ardmore
Funeral services for Edwin O. Perryman will be held Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at 2:00 PM in the Craddock Memorial Chapel with Pastor Bailey Schmidt officiating. A visitation will take place the same day at 12:30 PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
Edwin was born on June 14, 1941, in Randlett, Oklahoma, to Edwin and Carmen (Green) Perryman. He passed from this life peacefully on February 28, 2026, at his home in Ardmore, surrounded by the love of his wife and family.
Those who knew him knew a man of steady kindness, gentle humor, and a servant's heart — always fixing something for someone, always putting others before himself. His life was rooted deeply in his faith in Jesus, service, and quiet generosity.
On July 4, 1960, Edwin married the love of his life, Patricia Fulton, in Rifle, Colorado. For 65 years, they built a home filled with warmth, laughter, and the love of Jesus — a partnership marked by devotion and tender care. Their marriage stood as a true example of faithful and gentle love.
Edwin worked his entire life in the grocery business and later retired from Indian Nation Wholesale.
He is survived by his beloved wife Patricia of the home; daughter, Rita Henley and husband Kenny of Ardmore; and son, Duane Perryman and wife Lana, also of Ardmore.
To his family, Edwin was more than a father and grandfather — he was the best Papa, a gentle soul who adored children and lit up anytime they were near. His grandchildren include Ashley Nichols and husband Peter, Lauren Mitchell, LaRae Earley and husband Cody, and Derrick Perryman and wife Megan.
He was also blessed with a joyful group of great‑grandchildren: Ashlynn Hogan, Cole Hogan, Garrett Nichols, McKinley Smith, Sophia Mitchell, Annabelle Earley, Easton Earley, Waverly Earley, Derrian Perryman, Avery Perryman, Maci Perryman, and Kimber Perryman. He is further survived by his sister, Peggy Love of Texas, along with several nieces and nephews.
Edwin was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Carmen Perryman, along with six sisters and one brother. He is also preceded in death by his son-in-law, Wondo Mitchell.
He was happiest outdoors — working in the yard, tinkering with tools, or lending a hand to anyone who needed something fixed. He loved to visit, loved to snack, and loved taking care of everyone around him. His gentle ways and giving spirit were felt by all who knew him.
Some of his greatest joys were the family gatherings he and Patricia hosted — cookouts on the patio, holidays filled with laughter, and especially the treasured tradition of Christmas Eve at their home. Feeding everyone, watching the kids play, and having his family together brought him joy that could always be seen in his smile.
Edwin leaves behind a legacy of kindness, devotion, and steady, unwavering love. His gentle spirit and the lessons he lived will continue to guide and comfort those who loved him.
Pallbearers will be Derrick Perryman, Derrian Perryman, Cole Hogan, McKinley Smith, Peter Nichols, and Cody Earley. Honorary Pallbearers will be Easton Earley and Garrett Nichols.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Cross Timbers Hospice for the loving care provided.
A special thanks to Brooklyn, Kasi, Melanie, and Leeann for their compassionate, loving care.
