Ellen Christine
Mcclinton Weller
Aug 8, 1948 — Dec 16, 2018
Funeral Service for Ellen Christine McClinton Weller will be Thursday, December 20, 2018 2:00 PM at the Craddock Memorial Chapel with Dr. Alton Fannin officiating. Interment will follow at McMillan Cemetery. She was called home to Heaven on December 16, 2018 in Oklahoma City at the age of 70.
Ellen was born August 8, 1948 in Horatio, Arkansas to Jewel and Charles McClinton. She was born on the same day, five years after her older sister, Charlene. Despite being stricken by Polio at a very young age, she was able to overcome and flourish by the time the family moved to Ardmore. It was with that same spirit and ability to meet any challenge head on that would be how she lived the entirety of her life.
It was in Ardmore that she later met the love of her life and a true partner Warren Keith Weller for 49 years. By the time God called her home, she was an adored wife, amazing mother to 2 children, fabulous grandmother to 6, 5 boys and 1 girl, and grandest of great grandmother to 2 sweet babies.
She will be remembered for her feisty spirt, giving heart, selfless love and her strength of character. She never met a challenge that she couldn't not overcome and was not only a believer in miracles and an instrument to miracles happening.
Ellen was preceded in death by both of her parents: Charles McClinton and Jewel McClinton
She is survived and will be missed by her husband, Warren "Rusty" Weller; Son, Cory Keith Weller; Daughter, Annette Kay McMullen, Grandsons, Steven Devaney, Alex Weller, Justin Weller, Brandon Reeb and Sean McMullen; Granddaughter, Katelyn McMullen; Great grandchildren Heather and Lane Weller. She is also survived by her sister Charlene Burns and husband Robert.
Pallbearers will be Cory Weller, Stephen Devaney, Alex Weller, Justin Weller, Sean McMullen, Tim Mullen. Honorary bearers are Brandon Reeb, Katelyn McMullen, Robert Burns, Mike Burns, and Greg Burns.Visits: 0
