Ellyn Lorayne Teel was born October 4, 1949 to Kathleen (Kelly) and Melvin Keldsen in Duluth, MN. She passed from this life on April 25, 2022 at the age of 72. Ellyn was a graduate of Baldwin Park High School in the class of 1967. She followed her stepmother's footsteps into the banking industry. She received a Bachelor's Degree in Finance at Cal State University in LA. Ellyn was employed at City National Bank for many years retiring in 2008 as a Senior Vice President.

At a high school reunion she reconnected with Ted Teel, who had asked her to dance. Their relationship bloomed and they were married on October 10, 2009 in Las Vegas, NV. They moved to Ardmore in 2009.  Ellyn was a very active person who enjoyed life and nature.  After retirement, she became part of the local Crossfit community for the past seven years and was very passionate about it.

Ellyn was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Kathleen Keldsen; stepmother Ethel Gerbig; aunt Lorayne Peterson; and niece Jessica Lombardo. She is survived by her husband Ted Teel of Ardmore; sister Karen Keldsen; nephews Sam Windell, Jim Windell, Jason Windell, and Ethan Myers; nieces Amanda Armendariz and Rachel Owens; and cousin Donace Childs.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 30th at 1:00 p.m. at the Craddock Memorial Chapel with Reverend Robert Teel officiating.
