Farrelyn Joy Hix

A memorial graveside service to celebrate the life of Farrelyn Joy Hix is scheduled for Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 10:00 at Rose Hill Cemetery with Pastor Jim Yeager officiating.

Farrelyn was born December 16, 1947 in Ardmore, OK, to A.D. & Daisy (Mauldin) Butler.  She passed this life on September 13, 2018 at her residence in Ardmore.  She was a graduate from Ardmore High School then attended college before starting a family.  She spent most of her life as a caregiver to the elderly or homebound patients, and she was the primary caregiver for her parents and brother until their deaths.  She was soft spoken and will be remembered for her sweet spirit by all.  She was loved by all who knew her and will be missed.

She is survived by her daughter, Carmon Anderson and husband Dale, Ardmore, OK; son, Scott Johnson of Washington, many grandchildren, step-grandchildren, cousins and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Lewis Johnson, mother, father and brother.
