Frances Jeanette Hull was born March 21, 1937, in Hood River, Oregon to Emil and Dorothy Young. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 6, 2023 at Mercy Hospital Ardmore surrounded by her family. She ascended into heaven at the age of 85 years, 11 months, and 6 days.

She graduated from Wy'east High School in Hood River, Oregon in 1955.  She then completed her training at Emanuel Hospital School of Nursing, with her Registered Nursing Degree in Portland, Oregon in 1958.

In 1959 she met a young Commissioned Officer from Oklahoma, Wesley Hull, in Umatilla Oregon, while he was performing topographic mapping along the Columbia River. At the completion of the project, Wes returned to Portland, Oregon where Jeanette and her Saint Bernard, Dontjes, were waiting for him.   They were married on March 2, 1960. On March 2, 2023 they celebrated 63 years of wonderful marriage while she was in the hospital recovering from cardiac complications.

Throughout their marriage, they moved 32 times! These included the states of Washington, Oregon, Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, New York, Maryland, Virginia, Ft. Rucker Alabama, and Ft. Sill Oklahoma. Many of these assignments had Wes serving sea and mobile duty taking him away from home.  Jeanette stayed behind caring for their two children, Mike and Lori. Jeanette stayed active with the Military Wives Clubs and served as a Docent at the Seattle Zoo.  Jeanette loved caring for her flowers, bird and squirrel watching, and attending her children and grandchildren's sporting events and dance recitals. She had a passion for reading books and passed that love down to her daughter and a granddaughter.

After 32 ½ years of service, Rear Admiral and Jeanette retired to Ardmore to be close to family.

Jeanette is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Richard Young, as well as brothers-in law Archelowe Terrill, Bobby Hull, and nephew David Hull.

Those left to cherish her memory are husband, Wes, son Mike Hull and wife Sara, daughter Lori Smith and husband Doyle, grandchildren, Alessandra Hull, Chloe Grotts and husband Robby, Jonathan Smith and fiancé Carol Hoffman, Blake Smith and wife Kristen, Danielle Brazil and husband Tyler; 3 great grandchildren Whitley, Savannah, and Easton; sisters-in-law Barbara Young, Nell Hull and Lynnita Terrill; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Serving as pallbearers will be her grandchildren. Honorary pallbearers are her great grandchildren.
