Gisela Linda Paula Fincher passed away on Wednesday April 16, 2025, in Ardmore, Oklahoma. She was born on September 19, 1938, in Kassel, Germany to Erich and Paula (Nagel) Wiegand.

In 1958 as she was looking for Elvis, instead she found American soldier Edwin Allbaugh whom she married. She moved to Newark, Ohio where she became an American citizen. She got her first job at General Electric where she worked for 15 years. Even though her first marriage did not last they shared three children, Gabby, Mickey and Jeff. She retired from her first job when she married the love of her life Jimmy Don Poole. They were truck drivers that traveled all over the USA. Gisela could name every highway and major street in every large town in America which people would test her on, she never failed. Jimmy died in 2004, she married her final husband in her twilight years, retired lieutenant Colonel Alva Don Fincher that she traveled the world with. They moved to Arizona where she enjoyed her time with friends until their health declined and they moved back to Ardmore. Gisela was a joy to be around, and everyone became her friend instantly. She enjoyed dancing, shopping, planting flowers, hospital volunteer work, Nascar races and being with friends.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, husbands Jimmy Don Poole and Alva Don Fincher, sister Erika Grau, and brother Dieter Wiegand.

She is survived by her daughters Gabriele Allbaugh, Michele (Quinn) Mueller, and Jeffrey (Alvena) Allbaugh, grandsons, Joshua (Erica) Allbaugh, Britton (April) Mueller, Jeffrey Allbaugh II and Ross Allbaugh. Great granddaughter Chloe Mueller, great grandsons Nolyn O'Neil and Micah Mueller. Niece Nicole Siebert, and other family and friends.

A family memorial service will be held in Paris, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Cross Timbers Hospice.
