Funeral services for Haden Newman are scheduled for Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at the Provence Church.

Haden Melton Newman was born to John "Reuben" Newman and Lena "Pearl" (Thomas) Newman on March 23, 1933 in Wynnewood, Oklahoma.  He left this world for his eternal home in heaven on July 9, 2025 in Ardmore, Oklahoma at the age of 92.

Haden was a long time resident of Ardmore and worked at the Uniroyal/Michelin plant for many years.  He began his employment at the plant in 1970 and made many life-long friends while working there.

Haden married Juanita "Faye" Tillison on June 23, 1960 in Davis, Oklahoma.  Together they provided a loving home for their children.  They enjoyed 49 years together until her passing in January 2010.

On March 27, 2017 Haden married Dava "June" (O'Neal) Williams in Ardmore, Oklahoma. They provided great companionship to each other in their later years.  She passed away  in December 2024.

Haden enjoyed sharing the rocks, fossils and artifacts that he had collected through the years with his family and friends.   He had a large vegetable garden every year and was quick to share the fruits of his labor with those that he loved.  The most important thing in his life was his relationship with Jesus Christ, and he loved to share God's love whenever he had the opportunity. He loved to spend time with his family and many friends.

Haden was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Juanita "Faye" Newman,  wife,  Dava "June" Newman,  and sister, Lavada "Bernice" Vineyard.  He is survived by his children, Allen Newman and wife Vicki, Rhonda Kerr and husband John, Karen Foster, Jo Carter and Dana Patterson.  Grandchildren: Stephanie Robbins, John Newman, Joshua Newman, Matthew Newman, Shane Newman, Candice Sharrock, Jeremy Patterson, Joe Green, Keith Patterson, Dakota Foster, Jennifer Kerr, Briane Clevenger, Sara Shepard, and Levi Kerr; numerous great grandchildren, along with a host of other nieces, nephews, other family members, friends and loved ones.
