Harold L. Chancellor was born September 16, 1961 to Charline (Jackson) and Jerry Chancellor in Wichita Falls, TX. He passed from this life on June 29, 2018 at the age of 56.
Harold was a graduate from Dickson High School in the class of 1980. On November 2, 1984 he married the love of his life, Beverly Jackson in Gene Autry, OK. From their marriage they had two sons, Jacob and Jerrald. He studied at California State University of Sacramento for his job with the City of Ardmore . Harold was an employee for the city of Ardmore in the engineering department for 13 years and refereed high school football. He was a member of the Chickasaw Nation, which he was very proud of. Harold was a fan of OU Football, NASCAR, and motorcross. He enjoyed many things including camping, fishing, hunting, riding his Harley, and showing his chickens. Most of all, Harold enjoyed spending time with his boys and grandbabies. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Harold was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Chancellor; father-in-law Wayne Jackson; grandparents, E.E. and Mary Chancellor, Evelyn Hoseid, Mamye Chancellor, and Fred Jackson; great-grandparents Lola and Charlie Dodd; and numerous aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his wife Beverly Chancellor of the home; sons Jacob Chancellor and his wife Brooklyn and Jerrald Chancellor and his wife Jayce; mother Charline Chancellor; sister Sherri Blancett and her husband Kevin; adopted brothers Tracy and Toby Garmon; adopted sister Angela Bell; mother-in-law Jayne Jackson; sister-in-laws Brittany Henry and her husband Alan and Michelle Fuentes and her significant other Rick Massey; brother-in-law David Jackson and his wife Teri; grandchildren Payten, Delaney, and Elijah Chancellor; nieces Kevi Wolf and her husband Billy, and Hillari Henry, Cierra Fuentes, Kelsey Vanhoozer and her husband Travis, Danielle Jackson, Momo Fuentes, and Lizzy Fuentes ; nephews Brett Henry, Josh Blancett and his significant other Tara Smallwood, John Cole and his wife Sydney, Brandon Fuentes, and Jonah Fuentes; great nieces Boston Cole, Brinley Henry, and Lyla Vanhoozer; and great nephews Nikoah and Takoda Wolf.
Memorial services will be Saturday, July 7th, at 2:00 p.m. at the Craddock Memorial Chapel with Kirk Blancett, Bobby Freeman, and Bill Freeman officiating.
