Harold Dean 'Corky' Holman was born January 12, 1953 to Harold and Rachel Holman in Elk City, Oklahoma.  He passed on April 12, 2021 at the age of 68.

Corky grew up in Ardmore, attending Springdale and later Dickson where he graduated in 1971. In 1974 Corky married Linda Mitchell. In 1975 they had one daughter, Amy Sue Holman-Royal.

Corky spent his life doing what he loved, breaking and training horses.  If you knew him, then there was a horse involved somewhere. He never met a stranger and would give you the shirt off his back.  Later in life he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also enjoyed visiting with old friends and telling stories.

Corky was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Rachel Holman; brothers, Michael and Leslie Knisley.

He is survived by Linda, of the home; daughter and husband, Amy and Conrad Cook of Ardmore; grandchildren, Garrett Royal and wife, Miranda of Ardmore and Amber Royal of Ardmore; great-grandchildren, Gracie and Rylee of Ardmore; one brother, Wendell Knisley of Ardmore and best friend Gary Scott of Lone Grove.
