Heidi Laine Moss, 44, lost her battle with cancer on Jan 23, 2025, surrounded by her family.

A memorial service is scheduled for Friday, Jan. 31, 2025, at 2:00 pm in the Craddock Memorial Chapel with Brother Kirk Blancett officiating. A family visitation will also be on Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2025, at the funeral home from 6:00 to 7:00 pm.

Heidi was born Oct. 27, 1980, in Ardmore to Gerald "Jerry" and Terri Lynn (Lawyer) Moss. She graduated from Ardmore High School in 1999.  As a child, Heidi attended dance and Girl Scouts, where she met many friends.  She loved having costume birthday parties every year.  Her best times were spent at Lake Murray, swimming or sunbathing with her family and, later, with her friends.  Heidi had a longing to serve others.  Her early journey started by working in various long-term care facilities.  She found her true passion when she joined Budro's serving/bartending team, where she had a loyal following of customers for many years. She truly loved serving her customers and they absolutely loved her. Her true blessing in life came with the birth of her son Braxxton Wade Minyen on Jan 12, 2012, after a very difficult pregnancy.  He was the sunshine of her life. Heidi and Kevin loved every minute of being "B" 's parents, from taking him fishing to teaching him how to build things.  They both loved spending every minute with him until tragedy struck on July 17, 2018, with Kevin's untimely death.  Braxxton then became her sole focus in life.  Heidi accepted Jesus in her life as a child at First Orthodox Baptist Church.  She rededicated her life to Jesus on Oct. 8, 2018, at H2O with her brother Kirk Blancett Baptizing her.  Though her life came with many ups and downs, she always had a love for God.  She always showed strength, resilience, passion, and love for anyone she has ever met.  She never cast judgment on anyone, only showing them love.  She always had a way to draw people close to her.  To know her is to love her.

Heidi is survived by her beloved son, Braxxton Wade Minyen; her mother, Terri Moss; her sister and brother-in-law, Heather and Greg Mitchell; Nephew Talon Michell; lifelong friends, Jesse and Kristin Molina; Godchildren, Britton and Madilynn; and Jaxson Molina. Uncle Brian Lawyer and his family, Uncle Tom Moss and his family. Plus, numerous family and friends.

She was preceded in death by, her daddy Jerry Moss, the love of her life and father to Braxxton Kevin Michael Minyen, her grandparents, Bobbie Lawyer and TP and Opal Moss.

Pallbearers will be, Jesse Molina, Chad Blalock, Greg Mitchell, Talon Mitchell, Robin Pace and Jaxson Molina.
