Obituary

Graveside services for Hoyet Everett Rickman will be Saturday, January 9, 2021 1:00 P.M. at Laurel Land Memorial Park Cemetery in Ft. Worth, Texas with Naval military honors. Hoyet was born December 16, 1926 at Freemont, Mississippi to Fred E. Rickman and Wilma Mae (Barnes) Rickman. He passed from this life on January 1, 2021 at the age of 94. He loved his family, watching westerns, enjoying picnics at the lake with family and friends. Hoyet was an amazing storyteller. His description of details was always fascinating, whether it was good or bad. He was a Navy veteran, retired heavy equipment operator and truck driver. He loved anything that had to do with military.

Hoyet was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Wilma, wife Johnnie Marie Rickman, daughters; Helen Elaine O'Dell, Sandra Ragsdill, sons; Allan Mitchell, Larry Mitchell, sister; Betty Carolyn Castle, brothers; Bobby Rickman and Kenneth Rickman. He is survived by his daughter Jackie Allan of Valliant, OK., twelve grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.
