James Donald "Don" Guy

Services for James Donald "Don" Guy, 69, of Kingston, OK will be 11:00 am Tuesday, March 19, 2019, in Craddock Memorial Chapel with Rev. Bill Black officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. A night visitation for family and friends will be from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home.

He was born on January 15, 1950 to Jim Guy and Rose (Wright) Guy in Oklahoma City, OK. He passed from this life on March 15, 2019 in Marietta, OK.

He graduated from Wilson High School and Central State University in Edmond. Don was a Navy Veteran having served in the Vietnam War. He worked as an Oil and Gas Consultant for many years. Don was also a 32nd degree Mason and a Shriner.

He and Sheila Jackson were married on September 30, 1972 and from that union a daughter Amber was born. Later, Don and Karan Rhodes were married on March 23, 1996 in Ardmore, Oklahoma.

After retirement, he enjoyed fishing, gardening, dropping in and visiting with his friends, and spending time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jim and Rose Guy; sister, Cynthia Hefner; brother, Ramon Guy.

Don is survived by his wife, Karan of the home, daughters, Amber Wilson and husband, Russell of Lone Grove, OK, Shelly Ramirez and husband, Michael of Purcell, OK; grandchildren, Emma Wilson, Hunter Wilson, Jacob Ramirez and Justin Ramirez; brother, David Guy of Lindale, TX; sisters, Eletha Hise of Yukon, OK and Jimmie Lee Walker of Norman, OK along with many other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Howard Worley, R.L. Hilbun, Dan Webb, Russell Wilson, Michael Ramirez, Bill Holloway and Charlie Garner.
