Obituary

Jan Ilniski Baker, age 80, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2026. Born on March 4, 1946, Jan lived a life marked by dedication to her family, a strong work ethic, and enduring love for those closest to her.

Jan graduated from Ardmore High School class of 1964. She went on to build a successful career with American Airlines, from which she retired after many years of service. She spent much of her life in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex alongside her beloved husband, Calvin Baker. Together they shared 52 years of marriage, building a life filled with love, friendship, and cherished memories. She and Calvin would have celebrated 62nd anniversary on June 13th of this year.

Jan was preceded in death by her husband Calvin Baker; her parents, Stan Ilniski and Jean Ilniski; her brother, Mike Ilniski and her sister-in-law, Mohnda Todd Ilniski.

She is survived by her sister, Donna Ilniski; her daughter, Princess Cunningham and husband Matt of Fort Worth, Texas; her daughter, Christina Gibson and husband Matt Gibson of Springtown, Texas; her beloved grandchildren, Michael, Tisha, Brandon, Corey, and Heather, and multiple great grandchilden.

Jan's greatest joy was her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose kindness, strength, and unwavering support touched the lives of everyone around her. Her warm heart, gentle spirit, and dedication to those she loved will be remembered always.

Though she is no longer with us in person, the memories she created and the love she shared will remain forever in the hearts of her family and friends. Her legacy lives on through the generations she helped shape and the countless lives she touched.The family extends their sincere gratitude for the prayers, support, and expressions of sympathy during this difficult time.
