Jerry Wayne Dishman was born December 14, 1943 to Myrl (Qualls) and John Wesley Dishman in Ardmore, Oklahoma. He passed from this life on April 9, 2025 in his home at the age of 81.

Jerry worked many years at Cooper Farms. He started out working with his dad at the dairy until he became a delivery driver.

Jerry eventually left Coopers to open up his own, Dishman's Import Auto Service.  He worked on countless Volkswagens & other imports, over the years.

Jerry enjoyed spending his time fishing and watching NASCAR. He attended races at the Texas Motor Speedway, Talladega Speedway, as well as an Indy 500 race in Indiana.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents Myrl and John Wesley Dishman; and brothers Billy Joe Dishman, Jimmy Don Dishman, and Johnny Paul Dishman.

He is survived by his daughters Melissa Joy and Sara  & Joe Lee Grandchildren  Megan and Johnathon Dickson, Laura Kirk, Jared Kirk, Jackson Cooper, Taylor Koonce, Hunter Lee, and Annabella Lee "Twinkle toes"; Great grandchildren Hayden Dickson, Bailey Dickson, Abel Dickson, Liam Dickson, Lilly Lewis, Nixon Lewis; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, April 12th at 1.00p.m. at the Craddock Memorial Chapel with Rev. Bruce Kirby officiating.
