Funeral services for Jimmy Ray McComber will be held at the Craddock Memorial Chapel at 2:00 pm Thursday October 19, 2023, with Reverend John Harris officiating. Inurnment, following cremation, will be at Lone Cedar Cemetery at a later date. Honorary pallbearers will be Alex Pineda, James Carpenter, Ryan McComber, Kolton Pineda, David McComber, Howard Allen, Donald Allen, Chris Cronley, and Vincent Seeman.

Jimmy was born Saturday September 12, 1953, in Ardmore, Oklahoma to Lester William and Oma (Vance) McComber and died Thursday October 12, 2023, at his home in Lone Grove, Oklahoma at the age of 70 years and 1 month.

Jimmy retired from Michelin after 38 years of dedicated service. His world consisted of his daughters, grandchildren, motorcycles, and cars. He married Wanda Sue Gilliam on Friday October 4, 1974, in Lone Grove, Oklahoma and enjoyed 42 ½ years of marriage until her preceding him in death on April 7, 2017. He is also preceded in death by his parents; his father-in-law and mother-in-law; brother, Mike McComber, and his wife Carolin.

Jimmy is survived by his daughters, Joani Pineda and her husband Alex of Lone Grove, Oklahoma, Mindy Carpenter and her husband James of Wilson, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Ryan McComber and his fiancé Savhanna of Ardmore, Oklahoma, Kolton Pineda of Ardmore, Oklahoma, Madi McComber of Wilson, Oklahoma, Mylie Pineda of Lone Grove, Oklahoma; and he was to be a great grandpa to twins, Kyler and Blake due in November of 2023; brother, Eddie McComber and his wife Valerie of Norman, Oklahoma and sister, Marsha Allen of Ardmore, Oklahoma.
