Funeral services for longtime educator Jo Lee (Dillon) Foster are scheduled for Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 2:00 in the Craddock Memorial Chapel with Dr. David Daniel officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Ardmore. The family will host a visitation on Friday evening from 6-7 at the funeral home.

Jo Lee was born on August 16, 1930, in Berwyn, Oklahoma to Milton Eugene and Ruby M. (Rutledge) Dillon. She passed this life on December 28, 2024, in an Oklahoma City hospital.

She graduated from Gene Autry High School in 1948. She earned her bachelor's in education from Southeastern Oklahoma State University.

She taught at Northwest Elementary School, Mount Washington Elementary School, and Ardmore Middle School.
She and Carl Foster married in Ardmore on December 26, 1949.

She is survived by one son, Kevin Foster of Ardmore. Nephews: Dennis Dillon of Louisiana, Kirt Dillon of Sentinel, Oklahoma, and Pat Barnett of Kansas; nieces, Vonquitta Joyce Barnett of Kansas; Lisa Dillon of Tulsa, Ok. Linda Foster Russell of Plano, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Carl, Brother Cooper Dillon and his wife Narshella Dillon, and nephew Jim Barnett, Brother-in-law, Rayburn A. Foster, Sister-in-law, Rebecca MacAnally Foster. Nephew, Stephen Daniel Foster.

Jim Castle, Chris Craddock, Michael Sanford, Terry Key, Greg McMeans, and Vaughn Tyler will serve as Pallbearers. Tim Stanley, Jerry Elmore, D Allen Wint, Dennis W. Dillon, Kirt E. Dillon, Travis Williams, and Kent Taylor will be honorary bearers.
