Funeral services for Joan Marie Anderson will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday May 30, 2024, at the Craddock Memorial Chapel with Bishop Danny Martin presiding. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery with Justin Roach, Jeff Redding, Ryan Anderson, Alan Anderson, Wesley Anderson, and Justin Busey serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be her other grandsons and grandsons-in-law.

Joan was born July 27, 1932, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin to Wilbur and Blanche E. (Bruley) Stetzer and died May 23, 2024, in Ardmore, Oklahoma at the age of 91 years, 9 months and 26 days.

Joan spent many years working in the bookkeeping field. She spent several years working for the Carter County Election Board. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where she served in many capacities. Her greatest love was her family and especially visits from the little children. She loved playing games with her family and was pretty much a pool shark! She loved to watch sports and her favorite teams were the Oklahoma City Thunder, Texas Rangers, and the Green Bay Packers. She was always taking goodies to and looking after her neighbors.

Joan is preceded in death by her parents; husband, LeRoy O. Anderson; daughter-in-law, Candy Ann Anderson and two grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Brian Anderson and his wife Belinda Gay, David C. Anderson and his wife Debora, Timothy L. Anderson and his wife Melanie, Marcia K. Anderson, Scott A. Anderson, and his wife Courtney; twenty-six grandchildren; thirty-eight great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
