John Scott Bowman was born May 17, 1971, in Ardmore, Oklahoma to John and Marlys Bowman.  Scott was a graduate of Lone Grove High School and an Eagle Scout.  He worked at Michelin where he had many different job titles throughout his years of service. He loved BBQing by day and two-stepping at night.  He was always the life of the party and knew how to put a smile on everyone's face.

He is survived by his parents, John and Marlys Bowman; children, Noah Bowman, Logan Johnson and her husband Ryan; sisters, Wendy Bowman, Jill Johns and her husband Dan; grandchildren, Memphis and Ledger Johnson; his wife of 25 years and now great friend, Brandi Bowman; honorary brother, Heath Hicks and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ed & Madge Bowman, and Henry & Eula Clepper.

A memorial visitation for Scott will be Tuesday, September 19, 2023, 6 -8 pm at Craddock Funeral Home, 525 South Commerce, Ardmore, Oklahoma.  A Celebration of Life Service will b at 11am Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at the Lone Grove Assembly of God Church, 15657 US 70 East, Ardmore, Oklahoma 73401.  No graveside service to follow.
