John Mark Pool was born March 2, 1959 to Lawasson (Mathews) and Garland Pool in Duncan, OK. He passed from this life on April 4, 2025 at the age of 66.

Mark was raised in Ardmore, OK where he attended Ardmore Public Schools. He married Brenda Hassell on March 4, 1977 at the Trinity Baptist Church in Ardmore, OK. From this marriage they had 1 daughter, Rebecca.

Mark was a machinist most of his life, working for several companies including Stromberg Carlson, Haliburton, Brady Oil, and Kerr Pump. Mark enjoyed playing golf in his free time. He also loved spending time in his shop, building many things, but primarily knives and flutes.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents Garland and Lawasson Pool; and brother David Pool.

He is survived by his wife Brenda Pool; daughter Rebecca Pool; and grandsons Isaiah .Pool and wife April and Isaac Pool and wife Ramiyah, their daughter Rahzyla Rennae.

A memorial services is scheduled for Wednesday April 9th at 2:00 at the Craddock Memorial Chapel with James Duck officiating.
