Obituary

Joseph "Joe" Stella took one for the team on July 25, 2024. There was no way he was sticking around for one more season of second place. The man never missed a 49er game, even when he had to work.

He leaves behind his two children Landyn and Laynee, his wife Amanda, and every computer part he ever worked on. Too bad he never got an endorsement deal. Along with is immediate family, he leaves his mother Debra, his father James, his little sister Mandi, mother and father-in-law Sandy and Milton Floyd, those pesky little in-law siblings, Josh, Matt, and Kerry, and several nieces and nephews.

After 20 years as a tire builder for Michelin, which he constantly griped about, he finally wised up, listened to his wife and got out. Looking back, he stated he would miss working with all those awesome jacka**es.

Joe was a firm believer in the 2nd amendment,, unfortunately for his wife and their bank account. He was well known for his patience with kids and his ability to p*ss off everyone in a debate. He never met a joke he didn't like, especially a good inappropriate joke. If cancer had not taken him, washing and driving his Mustang likely would have caused his wife to divorce him at some point anyway. During his midlife crisis, he thought it was a good idea to buy an old, unreliable truck just to stroke his ego. Trust me, his ego was already big enough. (insert eye roll)

Joe was an avid animal and conspiracy theory lover, if we had brought him a tin hat, he probably would have worn it in public. Joe was renowned for his honesty and telling it like it was, regardless if you wanted his opinion or not. We would also like to add, he would have wanted everything to be private, but sorry, we need everyone to know how amazing he truly was.
