Karla Volenstine was born September 27, 1953 to Sally (O'Dell) and Harold Bud Stewart in Los Angeles, CA. She passed from this life on May 16, 2023 at the age of 69.

Karla was a graduate from Plainview High School in the class of 1971. On December 17, 1971 she married Richard Volenstine in Ardmore, OK. From this marriage they had 3 daughter Melissa, Kailie, and Dariann.

Karla loved watching her children and grandchildren play sports. She also enjoyed gardening and taking care of the family. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Karla was proceeded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband Richard Volenstine; daughters Melissa Dawn Marlett, Kailie Jones, and Dariann Himes; grandchildren Oakley Marlett, Millie St. Romain, Kensley Jones, Bentley Jones, and Aubree Jones; and brother Cal Stewart.

Graveside services are scheduled for Monday, May 22ndat 10:00 a.m. at Rosehill Cemetery with Pastor Bruce Kirby officiating.
