Kila Michelle Smith was born June 18, 1971 to Paula Mitchell and Douglas Wayne Smith in Ardmore, OK. She passed from this life on October 19, 2025 at the age of 54.

Michelle was a graduate of Lone Grove High School in the class of 1989. She worked with many friends at Montgomery Wards for numerous years. She was employed in the health field as well, including being a dental hygienist and a chiropractors assistant. Although CCCS, a credit counseling service, was her last place of work, and where she would meet dearly held friend.

She loved to serve the Lord, and wished blessings and prayers upon all that she met. Kila's selflessness is unmatched. Her main ambition was to help lead others on the path that we all seek. Her daily walks with our Lord helped her meet and touch numerous friends along the way.

Michelle was preceded in death by her father Douglas Smith; stepfather Roger Graves; grandparents Jess and Louise Mitchell; and nephew Zachery Smith.

She is survived by her son Kalem Auten; mother Paula Graves; and brother Paul Wayne Smith.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, October 24th at 1:00 p.m. at the Craddock Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at the Old Lone Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Craddock Funeral Home.

Kalem Auten, Chris Auten, Casey Auten, Jarrod Hodge, Mason McElroy and Jancen Ackerman will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers include Paul Wayne Smith, Greg Mitchell, and Bobby Smith.
