Funeral services for Laquita O'Dell are scheduled for Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at 10:00 am in the Craddock Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Bruce Kirby officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will host a visitation on Tuesday evening at the funeral home from 7-8.

Laquita O'Dell was born to Dud and Ethel (Allen) Ellis on September 4, 1934, in Marietta, Oklahoma. She passed this life on November 18, 2022, In Marietta.

Laquita graduated from high school in 1953 from Springer High School and attended Southeastern Ok. State University.

She and Duke O'Dell married in Oklahoma City on April 27, 1957. They lived in Ardmore their entire married life. She worked at the First National Bank for three years. She also worked one year in Oklahoma City for Teacher Retirement. She spent the rest of her working career, 38 years, with the Exchange National Bank of Ardmore. She was a member of the Southwest Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter Jonetta O'Dell, two grandchildren, Jason Bondurant and Jenifer Baker; and husband, Chad; and two great-grandchildren, Morgan and Zachary Baker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband, Ellis "Duke" O'Dell, and brother, Douglas Ellis.

Serving as pallbearers will be Zach Baker, Jerry Ellis, Jamey O'Dell, Lenny Meadows, Jimmy Eubanks, and Tim Eubanks.

Honorary Pallbearers are Chris O'Dell, Dan Harris, and Travis Harris.
