Memorial services for Larry "Toogie" Miller are scheduled for November 30th at 2:00 p.m. at the Saddle Mountain Cowboy Church in Channing, TX with Jacob Vincent officiating and special music by Dale Burson.

Larry Gene Miller was born October 19, 1946 to Myrte Ruth (Cravens) and Samuel Lee Miller in Gainesville, TX. He passed from this life on November 16, 2024 at the age of 78.

Larry married Hazel Shafer on September 20, 1968 in Channing, TX. He retired from the Texas Department of Transportation where he worked for over 30 years. It was at TXDOT he earned the nickname "Toogie".

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Lee and Myrte Ruth Miller; wife Hazel Miller; sister Florence Cramer; and brother Jimmy Miller.

He is survived by his daughter Connie Dove of Ardmore; sons Larry Lyn Miller and his wife Renee and Lewis Lee Miller and his wife Tandy, both of Channing, TX; brother Richard Miller of Dalhart, TX; sister Sue Kendrick and her husband Roger of Claude, TX; grandchildren Mercedes Weathersbee, Tina Sartrees, R.L. Miller, Austin Lindsey, Amber Moss, Kerry Miller, Ashton Hays, Mikalee Miller, Carson Dove, Miss D Jones, Blake Mounsey, and Dyllan Smith; 34 great grandchildren; and his buddy Hali Robinson.
