Leslie Reid Gentry was born June 10, 1933 to Tennie Cherry and David Austin Gentry in Overbrook, OK. He passed onto Our Father above on May 3, 2024 at the age of 90.

Leslie grew up in Overbrook and attended Greenville Schools. At the age of 18, he enlisted in the United States Navy. He worked for Carlon in Oklahoma City as lead man in production. On April 17, 1976 he married Nellie Marie in Norman, OK. He Spent his days praising the Lord and taking care of his family and helping his neighbors for All Belong to Christ.

Leslie was preceded in death by his parents, Tennie and David Gentry; daughters Moira Estelle Gentry and Venice Constable; and several brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his daughters Valerie Barry, Regina Roberts, and Vickie Holt; sons Orion Gentry and David Austin Gentry; sister Violet Hill; and numerous grandchildren.

Graveside services are scheduled for May 13, 2024 at Lakeview Cemetery with Ethan Tibbs officiating.
